Electrophoretic and immunofluorescence methods for study of plant cell cultures
Klimešová, Marie ; Babula, Petr (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
In all organisms are rising a reactive oxygen and nitrogen species by the effects of various stress factors and these species have a negative impact on the organism. Due to this species plants have built up an efficient antioxidant system, that helps them to resist negative effects of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. In this work was researched the effect of hydrogen peroxide and sodium benzoate on the production of hydrogen peroxide, superoxide, reactive nitrogen species and malondialdehyde, contained in the root and above-ground part of maize (Zea mays L.). By use of the fluorescence microscopy there were obtained images of cross-cut of root from which was determined the intensity of fluorescence of individual parts of the root and was examined the effect of the intensity of fluorescence markers of oxidative stress in dependence on the type of the fluorescence filter used.
Statistical Analysis of Air Pollution by Selected Pollutants
Pernicová, Veronika ; Durnová, Markéta (referee) ; Balgová, Zuzana (advisor)
This thesis analyses an occurrence of detected pollutant concentrations of nitrogen oxides, dust particles of the size od 10 and 2,5 m and ground ozone in years 2015-2019 in seven chosen locations in Brno agglomeration. In the introduction, the thesis describes basic terms, the issues of air pollution and relevant legislation. Individual pollutants are defined and also their effect on environment and human health. After that, the locations of Brno, for which the analysis is made, is specified. The dynamics of development of individual pollutants is shown through a statistical analysis of individual time lines. The analysis also focuses on the difference in the level of pollution during weekdays, holidays, seasons or rush hour. The quantities are also viewed from the point of view of the relevant air pollution limits and the influence of climatic factors, which significantly affect their concentrations.
Electricity Consumption Progression Analysis
Kunc, Dominik ; Procházka, Jiří (referee) ; Bartošík, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to briefly introduce the reader to the problem of development of the electricity consumption, to show the possibilities of its prediction, and provide an example of electricity consumption analysis, which may serve as a basis for long-term forecast. The first part of this work is devoted to brief overview of the development of consumption of electrical energy in the Czech Republic and factors associated with that development. The main events of Czech electrification history are outlined, as well as factors influencing the magnitude of the demand for electricity in the recent times. There are described the possibilities of the influence of foreign exchange and price of the electricity, net losses, GDP, the consumption of gas, the number of inhabitants, or the structure of the economy. This work further describes the development of the consumption of electric energy abroad and comparison of the electricity consumption in the Czech Republic to its neighboring countries, in which there are apparently influence by variety of factors that affect the consumption development trend. For more complex overview, the electricity consumption of most of European states is being noted, and near the end of the chapter the development in poorest countries and in quickly growing economies is shown. The fourth chapter mentions methods for short and middle-term prediction of consumption of electricity. There also is more consistent description of possibilities useful for long-term prediction, for which the use of the results of statistics analysis is possible. The description of observed data that are used to find the dependences of different factors is made in the following part. Further the approach of the statistics analysis used in this thesis is shown, and the key terms are explained. The dates concerning the consumption of Czech Republic are analyzed, followed by the states with similar trend of the consumption and finally other European states. Sixth chapter examines the possible uses of the outcomes of statistical analyses for long-term prediction of electricity consumption. The conclusion sums up the knowledge acquired during the research concerning problem of electricity consumption and my own analysis of data.

Application for Statistical Analysis of ICS Communication
Chimenti, Andrea ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burgetová, Ivana (advisor)
This work aims to present the design and implementation of an application for statistical analysis of network traffic in ICS (Industrial Control Systems) communication. In the first place, the work presents Industrial Control Systems and some of their most common protocols. The protocol IEC 104 is described in more detail. This is followed by an introduction to the basic methods of descriptive statistics, that can be used to analyze industrial communication. For this purpose, several CSV datasets, that capture fragments of industrial communication, have been used. These datasets are used to show how some of the previously described statistical methods can be used. The work then describes the implementation of an application, which allows to analyze the datasets and obtain various statistics and a visual representation of the data. The main objective of the application is to make it easier for the user to find stable characteristics that can be used for anomaly and attack detection. Finally, the benefits that the application brings are demonstrated on a set of datasets containing different types of attacks.

Research of modern articulation features for the analysis of hypokinetic dysarthria
Vrba, Filip ; Zvončák, Vojtěch (referee) ; Galáž, Zoltán (advisor)
This thesis deals with hypokinetic dysarthria, as a disorder of motor speech, which occurs in approximately 70% of patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). Two newly designed speech parameters for quantification of articulation within HD are analysed in this thesis. This parameters were validated on recording of both healthy and PD speakers. The theoretical part describes conventional and used methods of speech signal processing, parameterization and statistical analysis. In the part of the system implementation is described practical design of new parameters and also methods of their statistical evaluation by correlation analysis and machine learning. The aim of this work is to design new speech parameters for HD diagnostics. The proposed system was implemented in MATLAB software environment.
Objectification of the Test 3F - dysarthric profile based on acoustic analysis
Bezůšek, Marek ; Galáž, Zoltán (referee) ; Mekyska, Jiří (advisor)
Test 3F is used to diagnose the extent of motor speech disorder – dysarthria for czech speakers. The evaluation of dysarthric speech is distorted by subjective assessment. The motivation behind this thesis is that there are not many automatic and objective analysis tools that can be used to evaluate phonation, articulation, prosody and respiration of speech disorder. The aim of this diploma thesis is to identify, implement and test acoustic features of speech that could be used to objectify and automate the evaluation. These features should be easily interpretable by the clinician. It is assumed that the evaluation could be more precise because of the detailed analysis that acoustic features provide. The performance of these features was tested on database of 151 czech speakers that consists of 51 healthy speakers and 100 patients. Statistical analysis and methods of machine learning were used to identify the correlation between features and subjective assesment. 27 of total 30 speech tasks of Test 3F were identified as suitable for automatic evaluation. Within the scope of this thesis only 10 tasks of Test 3F were tested because only a limited part of the database could be preprocessed. The result of statistical analysis is 14 features that were most useful for the test evaluation. The most significant features are: MET (respiration), relF0SD (intonation), relSEOVR (voice intensity – prosody). The lowest prediction error of the machine learning regression models was 7.14 %. The conclusion is that the evaluation of most of the tasks of Test 3F can be automated. The results of analysis of 10 tasks shows that the most significant factor in dysarthria evaluation is limited expiration, monotone voice and low variabilty of speech intensity.
Autonomous Control of Cars
Čurda, Vojtěch ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to create a model of a self-driving vehicle, along with its surroundings. At first, the thesis outlines the vehicle automation and the system modeling problematics. The thesis then shows the design of said model, as well as its implementation. The model was implemented in UPPAAL Stratego - a tool that is used for modeling, validation and verification of real-time systems, in which the model is implemented as networks of timed automata. The result is a model of a self-driving vehicle, that can drive itself on a motorway with an arbitrary amount of traffic lanes. The self-driving vehicle reacts appropriately to the movement of other vehicles on the motorway and can change its speed according to speed limiting traffic signs. The behaviour of the model is then validated with the help of statistical analysis, which is done using the verification language embedded in the mentioned tool. The model is tested in specific scenarios, as well as random scenarios, where the self-driving vehicle is set into a regular traffic.
